The Writing Workshop

Experiential writing is used as a therapeutic technique around the country. It is becoming commonplace to find journals, memoirs, personal poetry, and books about dreams on most self-help shelves.

However, the art of journaling still catches some people off guard. The difficulty that many people have with writing is based on the misconception that there is only one way to journal. Rhonda Richmond's writing workshop is designed to teach every writer, new and old, how to find ways to push past the myth and begin to build their own stories.

Rhonda is pleased to offer writing workshops designed to meet the needs of any group!

The Short Workshop

This is a mini workshop designed to work with small groups that want to be introduced to the journal writing process.  The short session last 2 to 4 hours and is great for lower-intensity book club groups that desire to get to know one another better.  Snacks and tea are provided, along with a few other surprises.

In the short writing workshop participants  will:

1.  Read and discuss course materials with the group.
2. Write from prompts and share with other group members.
3. Provide feedback and encouragement to others in the group.
4. Participate in a thought-provoking craft.

The All Day Workshop

This workshop is designed to run all day.  The workshop is hosted from 9am  to 4pm, with lunch included.  Writers will be challenged and inspired through writing exercises and group sessions.

In the all day writing workshop participants  will:
