Read Rhonda's Mission Statement
Rhonda is a writer with a learning disability/ difference (LD), and therefore she serves to promote the LD community and those within it. It is therefore Rhonda's mission to create awareness within the community by proclaiming her difference and using it as a pathway to reach out to others.
She would love to hear the stories or meet with any other authors who share this special circumstance.
In addition to creating awareness for the LD Community, it is Rhonda's mission to reach out to abused and suffering women and help them to learn to write through their hurt, realize their strengths, seek* the help they need to get past it, and eventually move forward into healthier, happier lives.
Ultimately, Rhonda's mission it to teach people to be more self-reflective via the process of writing.

*It is Rhonda's position, that any one who realizes that they have an issue that requires professional assistance should immediately be directed to professionals in the field that can assist them. A writing workshop has the potential to open issues that a person is unable to deal with on their own. Be careful with yourself, and if something should arise, seek the assistance you need.
